Newlyweds Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani Get Wishes From PM Narendra Modi
The wedding festivities of Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani were held in Goa on February 21.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi added a touch of grandeur to the joyous occasion of Bollywood's newest couple, film producer Jackky Bhagnani and actress Rakul Preet Singh. He extended his heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to them.
In a heartfelt letter addressed to Jackky's parents, Vashu and Pooja Bhagnani, PM Modi conveyed his blessings to the newlyweds as they embarked on the journey of togetherness. He expressed his sincere hopes for the couple to explore each other's worlds and embark together on the path of self-discovery.
Wishing for the couple, PM Modi wrote, “As Jackky and Rakul commence the journey of trust and togetherness for a lifetime, heartiest congratulations and greetings to them on the auspicious occasion of their wedding. The years to come are an opportunity for the couple to discover each other, while also embarking together on the path of self-discovery.”

The couple's wedding celebrations unfolded in Goa with traditional rituals, including haldi, sangeet, and two ceremonies—one following Sikh traditions and the other in a Sindhi style.

Back in October 2021, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani confirmed their relationship.
Rakul talked about their relationship in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. She said, "I think it was very organic. We started hanging out together and then a couple of months down the line, like 2-3 months, 4 months we were just hanging out and without any facade of who we are. And the coincidence was we were almost neighbours and we didn't even know. We were not even friends for so many years. Till the lockdown happened and then we started hanging with our friends and it just very organically grew into comfort."
