After 11 Days In Hospital, Dipika Kakar Returns Home And Pens Emotional Note: 'Free From Tumour'

In an emotional Instagram post, Dipika Kakar expressed her gratitude to the medical team at Kokilaben Hospital, where she underwent surgery.

New Delhi: Television actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her lead role in 'Sasural Simar Ka', has returned home after spending 11 days in the hospital for stage 2 liver cancer treatment. The actress recently underwent surgery to remove a tumour “the size of a tennis ball” from her liver. Her husband and actor Shoaib Ibrahim offered an update through a new vlog. He shared glimpses of Dipika’s journey and her much-awaited reunion with their son, Ruhaan.

In the video, Shoaib thanked the doctors and medical staff for taking such good care of his wife during her stay at Kokilaben Hospital. Meanwhile, Dipika herself opened up about the emotional and physical toll of the past days in a lengthy Instagram post.

Dipika Kakar's Emotional Note

"Free from the tumour… but this is one part of the treatment done… remaining will follow in the coming time… and mujhe yakeen hai I will sail through that too as I said before. Ye 11 din mushkil the but because of the amazing ppl we had around… things went smooth… there was suffering but it was all handled with a lot of warmth by everyone at the #kokilabenhospital," Dipika shared with her fans.

She also posted a series of pictures: one from her hospital bed, another with her team of doctors, and one with the nurses who supported her through the journey. In the caption, she extended her heartfelt gratitude to the entire hospital staff.

Dipika concluded her note by writing, "Aage bhi yahi pray kijiyega ki my treatment further goes smoothly & I get the strength to go thru that as well… Lots Of Love to all…"

Dipika Kakar's Cancer Diagnosis

Dipika's journey with cancer began when she revealed her diagnosis last month. Her surgery was initially planned but had to be postponed when doctors discovered that the tumour was cancerous.

Despite the challenges, the actress has shown remarkable strength and resilience. Shoaib has been keeping fans updated on her health, and their love and support have been a source of inspiration for many.
