Well, the latest in the lot to announce separation is that of South Indian superstar Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa. The ‘Atrangi Re’ actor announced his separation from his wife on social media on Monday.
The news of Dhanush and his wife Aishwaryaa’s divorce came as a shock to the entire industry and the fans. Many people have been reacting to this celebrity divorce ever since the actor announced this separation. It is now filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma who has reacted and presented his views on ‘marriage vs divorce’ after Dhanush and Aishwaryaa’s separation.
Ram Gopal Varma took to his social media and ranted on the constitution of marriage calling it the ‘most evil custom thrust upon by nasty ancestors’.
Ram Gopal Varma tweeted, “Marriage is the most evil custom thrust upon society by our nasty ancestors in promulgating a continuous cycle of unhappiness and sadness”.
He further wrote, “Only divorces should be celebrated with sangeet because of getting liberated and marriages should happen quietly in process of testing each other’s danger qualities”. “Smart people love and dumbos marry”.
In another tweet, the filmmaker wrote, “Love in a marriage lasts for lesser days than the days they celebrate it , which is 3 to 5 days”.
“Nothing murders love faster than marriage ..The secret of happiness is to keep loving as long as it remains and then move on instead of getting into the jail called marriage”, tweeted Ram Gopal Varma.
The filmmaker further wrote in a tweet that ‘Star divorces are good trend setters to warn young people about the dangers of marriages’.
Meanwhile, Dhanush announced his separation from Aishwaryaa in a statement that read, “18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other..The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting...Today we stand at a place where our paths separate...Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better”.
