Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2024: Shah Rukh's outstanding performance in Jawan earned him the Best Actor award. For the same movie, his co-star Nayanthara won the Best Actress prize.
New Delhi: The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Awards was held in Mumbai on Tuesday night. The winners of the prestigious awards have been announced. Shah Rukh's outstanding performance in Jawan earned him the Best Actor award. For the same movie, his co-star Nayanthara won the Best Actress prize. Best Music was given to Anirudh Ravichander for Jawan. In the meantime, Best Director honour went to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his blockbuster film Animal. Popular celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Rani Mukerji among others were also present at the awards ceremony.
Vicky Kaushal won the Best Actor (Critics Choice) award for his performance in the biopic drama Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles.
