Zeenat Aman Shares What Keeps Her Up At Night

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman recently discussed what keeps her awake at night.

New Delhi: Zeenat Aman, a beloved figure in the film industry renowned for her roles in iconic movies like 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram', 'Don', and 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna', recently opened up about a surprising topic during an interview. Speaking to The Telegraph, the 72-year-old actress shared a glimpse into her personal concerns, revealing what keeps her up at night – paperwork.

In the candid conversation, Zeenat confessed that as she grows older and becomes more aware of her mortality, her focus shifts towards ensuring an orderly transition of her estate for her two children. 

The actress shared,  “As I get older and come to terms with my mortality, I want to ensure that I leave my modest estate in an orderly fashion for my two children.” 

Reflecting on her own experiences and witnessing the struggles of friends dealing with similar issues, she highlighted the significance of preparing paperwork to ease the burden on loved ones in the future. She said, "I have seen too many of my friends struggle with the sundry paperwork that their parents left to them."

Despite the unavoidable nature of paperwork, the actress aimed to provide a heads-up to others based on her own journey.

Zeenat said, “I wish somebody had told me what a lot of paperwork one has to wade through in life. While that isn’t possible, I can at least give the lot of you fair warning!” 

Aside from her candid revelations, Zeenat Aman also marked a milestone on social media. Celebrating one year since her debut on Instagram, she shared heartfelt sentiments about her transformative experience on the platform. Recounting how her children persuaded her to join, she reflected on the unexpected journey that led to personal growth and overcoming technological apprehensions.

Throughout her illustrious career, Zeenat Aman has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema with her stellar performances in blockbuster films such as 'Laawaris', 'Roti Kapada Aur Makaan', and 'Dostana', among others.
