Watch: Saif Ali Khan Steps Out For The First Time After Knife Attack, Seen With Kareena Kapoor Khan

Saif Ali Khan, who was stabbed by an intruder in his Bandra flat on January 16, made public appearance for the first time since the incident.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has made a good recovery after the knife attack on his Bandra residence on January 16. The actor was released after five days of treatment at Lilavati Hospital. Saif, accompanied by his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and heavily escorted by security, stepped out from their apartment on Sunday, January 26, marking his first public appearance since the horrific incident.

Paragrapher Viral Bhayani posted a video showing Saif and Kareena escorted out of their Bandra residence by police officers as a safety step after the stabbing. In the video, Kareena is seen walking ahead in a casual outfit consisting of a grey sweatshirt, black track trousers and a baseball hat. Saif is seen closely behind, wearing a navy blue t-shirt, jeans and dark sunglasses. A bunch of photographers and fans caught every moment as the pair hurried towards their car.

Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case

On Thursday morning (January 16), an intruder broke into the actor's Bandra apartment on the eleventh floor. According to reports, the incident took place at the actor's apartment when the intruder approached the maid. The situation became violent when Saif tried to step in, and the actor ended up with many knife wounds.

The actor had three injuries: two on his hands and one on his neck. After suffering serious injuries, the actor was sent to the hospital for treatment without delay. Saif had surgery, which included removing a blade that was 2.5 inches long.

Shariful Islam Shahzad, a citizen of Bangladesh, is accused of attacking Saif Ali Khan, The police have extended the custody until January 29, 2025.
