Ayushmann Khurrana's brother Aparshakti Khurana recently shared a nostalgic clip from their audition for a reality show on Instagram, which quickly went viral.

New Delhi: The journey of the Khurana brothers, Ayushmann and Aparshakti, in the entertainment industry, kicked off with 'Channel V Popstars', a reality TV show for budding talent in music. Aparshakti recently shared a nostalgic clip from their audition on Instagram, which quickly went viral.

The video showcases the brothers singing 'Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe' from the 2001 film Dil Chahta Hai during their audition in front of a jury panel comprised of Purabh Kohli, Palash Sen, and Mehnaaz. The duo cleared the audition round and were seen dancing and celebrating in the video.

In a humorous moment, Ayushmann quipped to the cameras, "We got selected... we're going to come tomorrow, but I have an exam tomorrow."

“That’s where it all started. Feel so blessed, looking at the journey so far. Looking at faces we had..don’t know what to say,” Aparshakti wrote in his post.

Fans showered them with love on the post. One commented, “God has been so kind on both of you. Very few people get so much in life.” Another wrote, “what a humble beginning.” Others were in awe of their talent and hard work over the years.

Aparshakti's wife, Aakriti Ahuja, also shared her sentiments on her Instagram story, saying, "What a journey. Get goosebumps every time I see this."

While the Khurana brothers didn't make it to the final cut of the show, they went on to become successful actors in Hindi cinema. Ayushmann had previously won the second season of 'MTV Roadies' in 2004 before making his acting debut with ‘Vicky Donor'. He received numerous awards and critical acclaim for his performances in films like 'Andhadun', 'Dream Girl', and 'Badhaai Do'.

Aparshakti, the younger of the two, is also an accomplished actor and a well-known radio personality. His Bollywood journey started with the sports biopic 'Dangal' (2016), and he has since played notable supporting roles in commercially successful films like 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Stree', 'Luka Chuppi', and 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. In 2021, he took the lead in Helmet, marking his first film as a solo protagonist. He also played the lead in the web series 'Jubilee'.
