Vikrant Massey shared photos on Instagram from his Karva Chauth rooftop celebrations with his wife, Sheetal Thakur. One picture showed Vikrant touching Sheetal's feet, which sparked mixed reactions online. While some praised the gesture, others criticized it. Vikrant addressed this in a recent interview.

Vikrant Massey on getting abused for touching wife's feet

In his conversation with The Lallantop, Vikrant said, “My post had six photos, but only four of them became a topic of discussion. Some people liked it, while others even abused me. I don’t understand why. I believe that if you want peace at home, you should touch your wife’s feet from time to time."

He further explained, “People made those photos viral. She is the Lakshmi of my home, and I don’t think it’s wrong to touch Lakshmi’s feet. I proudly say that she came into my life 10 years ago and changed it for the better. Ever since she entered my life, only good things have happened, and to keep it that way, I continue to touch her feet."

Meanwhile, Vikrant Massey and Raashii Khanna’s drama-thriller 'The Sabarmati Report' is set to release on November 15, following several delays. Directed by Dheeraj Sarna and produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms along with Vikir Films Productions, the film is based on the tragic burning of the Sabarmati Express in Godhra, Gujarat, on February 27, 2002.

'The Sabarmati Report' was initially announced in January this year with a planned release on May 3. However, the release was postponed to July and later to August 2, with reports suggesting a September or October date.
