Vijay Varma Recalls How Shah Rukh Khan Made Him Feel Special: 'You Will Think He Talks About You with His Family'

Actor Vijay Varma, who was recently seen in season 3 of ‘Mirzapur’, recalled his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor shared that he has never had a chance to share a screen space with SRK, but he met him while shooting for the Netflix film 'Darlings'. The black comedy was co-produced by Red Chillies and Eternal Sunshine Productions.

In an interview with Mashable India, Vijay Varma shared that he ‘deeply regrets' that he hasn’t worked with Shah Rukh Khan yet.
“Yes, I haven't worked with him (Shah Rukh Khan) yet, but since I was in his production, I have interacted with him quite a bit and met him several times. However, I haven't had the opportunity to act alongside him, which I deeply regret,” the actor said in Hindi.
When asked if he had a ‘business meeting’ with Shah Rukh, the actor said, “With him, you'll never feel like you're in a business meeting. He is very warm. You will never feel like there is a transaction happening at any given point in time with him.”
Vijay Varma says SRK makes people feel like the 'most important person'
Vijay added, “He always makes it very personal and very warm. You'll feel like he's only thinking about you, as if you're the most important person in his life. You might think he talks about you with his family at night, thinks about you while eating, and watches your movies. He makes you feel that special. It's very lovely. And I told him, ‘Sir, you should call more often’."
On the work front, Vijay Varma is currently promoting ‘Mirzapur’ season 3. The series also stars Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Shweta Tripathi. The latest season dropped on Amazon Prime Video on July 5, 2024.
