Opinion: Dear Urvashi Rautela, We've Flushed the Leaked Bathroom Video Plot. Time For New Ideas!

The internet went wild after a video of actress Urvashi Rautela changing clothes in a bathroom showed up online. This video claimed to be "leaked" but everyone knew something fishy was going on.

The internet went wild this week after a video of actress Urvashi Rautela changing clothes in a bathroom showed up online. Now, hold on to your phones (because let's be real, the internet has seen wilder things), this video claimed to be "leaked" but everyone knew something fishy was going on. Things got even funnier with a "leaked" conversation between Urvashi and her manager the next day, dripping with more fake surprises than the prank videos on the internet.

Urvashi's Video And Social Media Reaction

Of course, social media had a field day. As expected the actress and her PR team were trolled for the video, which everyone believed was a promotional stunt. We can't agree more with many calling her PR team at the kindergarten level. This is a different age and time, netizens have graduated from dial-up to fibre-optic internet, and our BS detectors are on overdrive. We have seen it all, from AI morphing faces to, Poonam Pandey's "creative" fake death stunt to create awareness about cervical cancer. Gone are the days when people believed that they could win a free phone by clicking a suspicious link.

Why The Video Screams PR Stunt

We give Urvashi's team credit for trying. Still, the strategically placed camera, the video ending exactly when it needed to end, and the perfectly timed "leaked" conversation with her manager felt about as genuine as a politician's promise during election time. The internet's way past this "accidental leaks" stage. Those tactics are as outdated as flip phones with antennas. And don’t get us started on crystal clear ‘leaked video’ getting uploaded on paparazzi’s accounts.

Urvashi's known for being 'first' at many things, but now she has become the first celebrity to attempt the most unconvincing promotional stunt ever.

Our friendly suggestion to Urvashi and her team - ditch the tired tactics and bring on something that'll surprise us, like her 74 million Instagram followers do. Because the only thing getting leaked here is your team's reputation for subtlety.
