New Delhi: There is a huge amount of devotion to Thalapathy Vijay, one of the most famous performers in Tamil cinema. Recently, his son, Jason Sanjay, gained even more recognition after making an unusual public appearance at a wedding in Tamil Nadu on February 25. Social media users went crazy about Jason's attendance at a function in Salem.
Jason Sanjay attended the reception of Pattali Makkal Katchi's honorary president GK Mani's grandson, where he was seen congratulating the newlyweds and posing with them on stage.
Jason sported a dark brown shirt for the ceremony, and the family of GK Mani honoured him with a shawl and a garland.
On social media, images of Sanjay arriving at the wedding went viral, and admirers soon noticed how much Sanjay looked like his father, Thalapathy Vijay. Sanjay's appearance was praised by many as a "carbon copy" of his father; some even named him "Thalapathy 2.0."

Jason Sanjay Preps for Directorial Debut
Jason Sanjay is getting ready to direct his first movie, which Lyca Productions is producing under an unnamed title. Filming is anticipated to start in the next months, with Sundeep Kishan playing the major role. The project is now in the pre-production stage.
The movie, which was announced in August 2023, has created a lot of buzz. Jason thanked everyone and said, "It's an honour to get the opportunity to direct my first film for a prestigious production house like Lyca Productions. It has been a hub of encouraging talents and has created a stream of new filmmakers. I am glad that they liked my script, and have given me complete creative freedom to materialise it," in a statement.
