Sunny Deol Gets Teary-Eyed As Audience Welcome Him With Standing Ovation Post Gadar 2 Success

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is still running strong at the box office and the film did exceptionally well and has collected around Rs 510 crore till now.

New Delhi: Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is still running strong at the box office and the film did exceptionally well and has collected around Rs 510 crore till now. Sunny Deol, who is celebrating the huge success of the film, is still in disbelief seeing the amount of love he has been getting for the film. The actor recently posted a promo of the show in which he will appear over the weekend. In the promo, he can be seen getting emotional because of the rousing welcome given to him by the audience. 

Sunny posted the promo of Aap Ki Adalat show, where the host can be seen welcoming the actor and he is greeted by loud cheers applause from the audience as they gave him a standing ovation. Seeing the love of the audience, Sunny couldn't hold back his tears. 

When asked by the host, reason for getting emotional, the actor said, “Jis tarah se ye log khush ho rahe hai jo maine kiya hai to yakeen nahi ho raha main iske layak hu ya nahi (The way these people are happy with what I have done, I am not sure whether I deserve it or not)."

Many celebrities like Ameesha Patel, Bobby Deol, Boney Kapoor commented on the actor’s post. "The most humblest superstar of our industry….. n the whole nation loves him," Ameesha wrote. Boney Kapoor wrote, "World will acknowledge that you are very sensitive because you are a very good human."

Sunny’s brother Bobby commented, "Love you bhaiya."

Directed by Ani Sharma, Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’, which also starred Deol and Ameesha Patel.

Set in 1971, ‘Gadar 2’ follows Tara Singh (Deol)'s journey to Pakistan to rescue his son, Charanjeet Singh (Utkarsh Sharma) from the Pakistani Army. It also features Patel, Manish Wadhwa and Gaurav Chopra.
