'Afwaahon Ha Safar...’: Sunny Deol Clarifies On Viral Drunk Video, Says He Was Shooting For Film

Recently, a video of him wandering the streets of Mumbai in a seemingly drunken state went viral.

New Delhi: Sunny Deol has been shooting for his next film. After the success of 'Gadar 2', Sunny Deol who is in full form, is back on sets. However, his official announcement about a new film shoot came rather unceremoniously. Recently, a video of him wandering the streets of Mumbai in a seemingly drunken state went viral. Fans and netizens were quick to question the source until it was revealed that the video is a behind-the-scenes video of Sunny Deol from a film shoot.

Sunny Deol himself cleared the air by sharing the video of his official Twitter handle with a caption that read, "Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin tak.”

In the video, we see the star wandering alone on a street with an unsteady walking manner. As he crossed a busy street, an auto rickshaw pulled up next to him. The driver of the rickshaw then guided him by the hand to take a seat in the rickshaw.

Sunny Deol then speaks with the rickshaw driver before taking a seat.

Earlier in an interview with Mashable India, Sunny Deol spoke about being a teetotaler. He said, "Ye nahi ki maine try nahi kiya… Jab main England gaya tha to maine try kia tha to be part of the society but daaru ka mujhe samajh hi nahi aaya ki itni kadvi, upar se smell itni gandi hai, upar se sar dukhta hai, toh kyun peete hain? Ye koi matab nahi hai, isiliye I never did that (It’s not that I didn’t try. When I went to England, I tried to be part of the society but I never understood it. It’s so bitter, such bad smell, and gives you a headache, so why drink it)’' ' he said.

Sunny Deol was most recently seen in the blockbuster 'Gadar 2' which is the sequel to the 2001 hit 'Gadar'. The film collected more than Rs. 700 crore at the box office.
