Ajay Devgn And Akshay Kumar Set To Reunite For New Film, But With A Twist

New Delhi: Bollywood superstars Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar are getting ready to team up again after Rohit Shetty’s smash hit ‘Singham Again’, in which they portrayed the legendary Bajirao Singham and Veer Sooryavanshi, respectively. But this time around, Akshay Kumar will play the major role and Ajay Devgn will be the director.

The future project was teased by Ajay Devgn during the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024. The actor told, "This is something we were going to announce later, but I think this is a great platform. We are already working on something together where I am directing the film, and he is in the film."

Despite the project's confirmation, Ajay has made it clear that it's still in its early stages and that additional information would be given later, leaving fans anxiously anticipating more updates.

Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn had previously worked together on a number of movies, such as ‘Suhaag’, ‘Khaki’, and ‘Sooryavanshi’. Meanwhile, Ajay has directed many films, including ‘Bholaa’, ‘Runway 34’, ‘Shivaay’ and ‘U Me Aur Hum’.

The news of their upcoming partnership has piqued fans' interest in seeing what these two powerhouses do together next, both on and offscreen.

In India, the much awaited cop drama ‘Singham Again’, starring Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar, has made almost Rs 220 crore at the box office. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film's stellar ensemble cast includes Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
