The romance drama that carries a relatable social message, opened to decent review from critics and got appreciation from the audience as well. Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who also watched 'Satyaprem Ki Katha', is going gaga over his wife Kiara Advani's performance in the film.

Sidharth took to his Instagram stories to pen an appreciation post for Kiara Advani's stellar performance in 'Satyaprem Ki Katha.' Showering all his love on his wife, Sidharth wrote, "A love story with a relevant social message, filled with great performances from the entire cast but Katha you have my heart. @kiaraaliaadvani so happy that you chose to play this character. 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani opened to a solid start by earning Rs 9.25 crore on the first day of release in theatres. The critics have given this romantic drama favourable reviews.

Supriya Pathak, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania also appear in the Sameer Vidwans-directed film. The romantic movie, which Sajid Nadiadwala produced, reunites Kartik and Kiara after their 2022 blockbuster 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The film released in theatres on June 29.
