According to a recent social media post by journalist Vickey Lalwani, Sharmin Segal is reportedly expecting her first child in real life—just like her character in the show. His post read:“Sharmin Segal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece and Deepak-Bella Segal’s elder daughter, is expecting her first baby. Good news is knocking on the doors of the Bhansali and Segal households. Sharmin is due anytime soon. Remember, you read this here FIRST! Sharmin made her Bollywood debut playing Alamzeb in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s acclaimed web show Heeramandi, which premiered on May 1 last year on Netflix. Sharmin married Aman Mehta, executive director of Torrent Pharmaceuticals, in 2023. She has settled in Ahmedabad after marriage but is currently in Mumbai for her delivery. Needless to say, Sanjay, Bela, and Deepak are dancing in the aisles—ditto for Sharmin and Aman.”
