The actor is currently busy filming his next project 'Sikandar', directed by AR Murugadoss, and also hosting a reality show. Reports suggested that Salman had canceled his shoots to attend Siddique's funeral, sparking speculation that his schedule might be disrupted.

However, when contacted, the actor’s manager denied these claims, saying it was “not true.”

An insider close to the film confirmed that Salman’s security on set has been tightened. "Salman sir always had security around him but lately an additional 8-10 personnel have been added. They come for recce before he arrives," the source shared.

The insider further mentioned, “There was a minor schedule change for 1-2 days, but nothing significant. We’ve heard that the schedule might be adjusted slightly in the future, but not by much. If filming was expected to wrap by November or December, it might now finish by January. Everyone’s safety is the top priority right now.”

The film, which is being shot in Mumbai, is slated for a March 2025 release.

In addition, according to a report by India Today, eight to ten armed police officers have been added to Khan's security detail. The Mumbai Police has set up a dedicated command center for his residence, Galaxy Apartments. The building is now under 24/7 police patrol, with AI surveillance cameras installed at all entrances to detect individuals who appear in the vicinity more than three times.

Barricades have been placed outside, and unauthorized visits, gathering near the building, or taking selfies have been prohibited. Security has also been heightened at Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel.
