Salman Khan’s Security Blocks Aamir Khan’s Son Junaid At 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Premiere, Here's What Happened
At the 'Sitaare Zameen Par' premiere, Salman Khan's bodyguard mistakenly took Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, for an overenthusiastic fan and blocked his approach.

New Delhi: What was supposed to be a glamorous celebration for Aamir Khan’s latest film, 'Sitaare Zameen Par', took an unexpected turn on Thursday night when an awkward moment unfolded on the red carpet, involving none other than Salman Khan and Aamir’s son, Junaid Khan.
Held in Mumbai, the grand premiere saw a galaxy of stars in attendance, from Shah Rukh Khan and Rekha to Vicky Kaushal and Shabana Azmi. Among them was Salman Khan, who arrived under a tight security blanket, a precaution prompted by the recent spate of threats against him. However, the actor’s heightened security led to a moment of confusion when Junaid Khan, Aamir’s son, was blocked by one of Salman’s bodyguards from walking alongside the superstar.
What Was the Incident?
A video from the event, now doing rounds on social media, captures the scene: Salman, surrounded by his personal security team, walks the red carpet with his usual swag. Genelia D’Souza, the film’s leading lady, steps in to greet Salman, while Junaid, who had been walking beside him, is suddenly held back by a bodyguard who failed to recognise him.
Junaid can be seen trying to explain himself, but the security detail stood firm, unaware of his identity. To his credit, Salman noticed and gently gestured for the bodyguards to ease up, without making a public fuss.
