Saif Ali Khan Attacked: Pooja Bhatt Voices Concern Over Growing Lawlessness, Jr NTR Prays For 'Speedy Recovery'

Pooja Bhatt and Jr NTR both took to Twitter to express their reactions to the shocking attack on actor Saif Ali Khan.

New Delhi: Following the shocking attack on actor Saif Ali Khan at his residence, actress Pooja Bhatt has raised her concerns about the increasing lawlessness in Mumbai, specifically in the Bandra area. Taking to social media, Pooja Bhatt urged authorities to take immediate action and increase police presence in the city to ensure the safety of its residents.

In her tweet, Pooja said, "Can this lawlessness please be curbed @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice. We need more police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the suburbs, have never felt so unsafe before."

Pooja Bhatt tagged key political leaders, including Ashish Shelar, Eknath Shinde, Ajit Pawar, and Devendra Fadnavis, highlighting her concerns about the growing sense of insecurity. She further called for attention to the matter, stating, “Kind Attention @ShelarAshish @mieknathshinde @AjitPawarSpeaks @Dev_Fadnavis.”

Her comments come in the wake of the attack on Saif Ali Khan, which has left the public shaken and raised questions about safety in certain parts of the city.

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan's 'Devara: Part 1' co-star Jr NTR also expressed his shock and concern over the incident. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, "Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health."

Saif Ali Khan was injured after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his residence in the upscale Bandra area in the wee hours of Thursday. According to an official statement by Khan's team, the actor was injured during an "attempted burglary".
