Rihanna Is Getting Paid Over Rs 66 Crore To Perform At Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's Pre-Wedding: Report

Rihanna will perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding ceremony to be held in Jamnagar.

New Delhi: R&B singer Rihanna is in India, Jamnagar to perform at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding ceremony. According to India Today, she is being paid an enormous sum to sing at the star-studded event. 

The pop icon is a touring musician who rarely does private shows. According to sources, her pay for the performance is between $8 and $9 million (Rs 66 to 74 crore).

On February 29, the singer and her troupe arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat. She caught on camera as she made her way out of the airport. Rihanna was spotted arriving with her partner A$AP Rocky, but her 'luggage' arrived first and caused a bit of a stir.

According to Daily Mail, the Ambanis hired Beyonce to sing at Isha's wedding in 2018, which cost them a fortune.

Apart from Rihanna, Diljit Dosanjh is expected to entertain the attendees at the grand event. Another major highlight of the pre-wedding festivities will be the performance by world-renowned illusionist David Blaine.

The pre-wedding festivities began in Jamnagar on Thursday with a 'anna seva', in which the couple and their family members fed several people. It included serving food to around 51,000 local people and is likely to last for several days.
