In a follow-up statement, Raza Murad furher explained and wrote in Hindi: "Please, please, please do not think that this is a liquor or birthday party. This is a clipping from the shooting of an under-production film, which was shot a few days ago in Chhatarpur, Delhi. This is a scene from the film where my birthday is being celebrated in the storyline." He added: "Many people are wrongly assuming that a liquor party was taking place. My actual birthday falls in November, but this is the month of March. Without verifying the facts, some are accusing us of drinking openly during Ramadan, which is absolutely incorrect.
