Raja Chaudhary Slams Shweta Tiwari: ‘She’s Illiterate, I Planned Palak’s Future’

In a candid and controversial new interview, television actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Raja Chaudhary has broken his silence on his much-publicised divorce from TV star Shweta Tiwari. Speaking to Hindi Rush, Raja didn’t hold back as he responded to allegations of abuse and criticized Shweta for the choices she made during their turbulent marriage.
Raja Questions Police Involvement in Marital Dispute
Opening up on the fallout of their relationship, Raja revealed he still doesn’t understand why things escalated the way they did. “If given a chance, I would like to ask Shweta why she didn’t resolve the matter between the two of us instead of involving the police,” he said. According to Raja, external influences and Shweta’s support system at the time played a crucial role in pushing the divorce forward. “I believed Shweta's then-circle helped her a lot to end the marriage,” he stated.

Raja, who shares daughter Palak Tiwari with Shweta, claimed that he had a vision for their child’s future and felt sidelined as Shweta’s career soared. The actor also took a dig at his ex-wife’s educational background, saying, “She was illiterate.” Despite his controversial comments, he maintained that he was also earning during the marriage, though less than Shweta.

One of the most debated portions of Raja's interview was his strong opinion on gender roles in marriage. “You could say that. She was earning more, I was earning less. I was working too, but does that even matter?” he questioned. Raja went on to criticise the perceived hypocrisy in the conversation about financial equality in relationships. “A man earns his whole life — the day a woman earns, she feels it was her money. Aadmi toh kabhi nahi kehta yeh mera paisa hai. Aurat ka paisa aurat ka paisa hogaya, ajeeb natak hai,” he remarked. He further added, “Fir baatien hongi ki kandhe se kandha milake chalenge, barabari karenge, abey kahan ho barabari ke layak? Chaar rupay dekhke tumhari neyaat badal gayi.”
The emotionally charged statements from Raja Chaudhary have once again stirred public attention toward a relationship that had already played out in the limelight. While Shweta Tiwari has not responded to his recent remarks, the revelations have reignited the debate around fame, power dynamics, and personal accountability in celebrity marriages.
