New Delhi: Actors Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda, who has been in a relationship since 2019, are getting married on March 15 in Manesar, Gurugram. With the wedding preparations in full swing, the festivities are set to commence on March 13.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Pulkit and Kriti are opting for a Punjabi wedding, attended by their families and close friends from the industry, including Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, and the Fukrey cast members Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh.
“The wedding festivities have started with an intimate get-together of families in Delhi, and it will be followed by a festivities and wedding in Manesar. The wedding ceremony will be a Punjabi affair high on music, dance, food and masti,” Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.
Notable celebrity guests expected to attend include Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Luv Ranjan, and Mika Singh.
“Kriti and Pulkit have chosen an intimate wedding ceremony, sharing their special day with close friends and family. Some of the guests which will be coming for the wedding include names such as Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar, Zoya Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Luv Ranjan, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, and Mika Singh,” the source told Hindustan Times.
Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat, who have worked together in 'Veerey Ki Wedding,' 'Taish,’ and 'Pagalpanti,’ have chosen a classy pastel theme for their big day. The couple will tie the knot at ITC Grand in Manesar, Gurugram.
“It is something which reflects their personality. The theme will be subtle and classy. The couple are really happy to start a new chapter of their life, and are cherishing every bit of it, which includes the planning stage as well. They both are from Delhi, and that’s why they wanted to get married in the capital only,” Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.
Rumors about their impending nuptials gained momentum when the couple shared similar pictures from a love-filled vacation, accompanied by a caption that hinted at a March wedding. The couple first met on the sets of 'Pagalpanti' and subsequently began dating.
