Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Ex-Wife Aaliya Talks About Her New man, Says 'I Would Still Like To Hold Back His Name'
Aaliya has said that his new man has provided her with "immense emotional support," but she has yet to reveal his name.
New Delhi: Aaliya Siddiqui, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-wife, posted a photo of herself with her special someone on Instagram a few days ago. Now, she has talked about finally feeling happy again. She said in an interview that she and her bf met at a mutual friend's party. Aaliya has said that the guy has provided her with "immense emotional support," but she has yet to reveal his name.
Aaliya and actor Nawazuddin were married for 19 years and had two children together. They are currently going through a divorce process. The pair hurled enough dirt at one other before they split up, with Aaliya blaming Nawazuddin's mother for not allowing her into his house and the actor disowning his children, among many other accusations.
Aaliya recently told Bombay Times, “I would still like to hold back his name. I uploaded a picture with him. He is someone whom I said earlier, has given me immense emotional support.”
Aaliya said they first met at a party hosted by a mutual friend. She said, “He was frequently looking at me. I could sense that he was liking me. But even I quite liked him there itself. He was sitting very quietly in a corner and speaking very gracefully with every guest. And, I quite liked his face; he has good features."
She added, "He asked for my number from my friend. She gave it to him and then called me to ask if it was okay. I said 'No problem'. After some time, I got a call from him. He said he loves my eyes and he was attracted to me. So far, after my issues with Nawaz, many men had proposed a relationship and/or marriage. But I could never feel with them what I felt with this person. I don't know how but I could make out that he is not trying to take advantage of me."
She went into detail about why this time of year is so special to her. She said, “Bahut sukoon mil raha hai. Bahut acha lag raha hai. I have someone in my life who is very concerned about me and cares for me a lot."
Aaliya was also asked whether or not she planned to tie the knot anytime soon. In response, she said that they had mutually resolved to not give their relationship a tag.
