Mukesh Ambani And Nita Ambani Introduce Shah Rukh Khan As Anant Ambani's 'Godfather', Watch Video

Mukesh and Nita Ambani celebrated Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding in a three-day extravaganza.

New Delhi: Mukesh and Nita Ambani celebrated Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding with a grandiose celebration. The couple hosted a three-day extravaganza from March 1 to March 3. On March 6, celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranveer Singh returned to Gujarat's Jamnagar for the extended event.

A video from the celebration has gone viral, in which Mukesh and Nita Ambani introduce Shah Rukh Khan as Anant Ambani's 'godfather'. Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani were to call Shah Rukh Khan to the stage.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan got embroiled in a controversy during the event. The actor invited Ram Charan to come on stage. In jest, Shah Rukh blurted out a few phrases that seemed to be in Telugu or Tamil. Pinkvilla posted a video of the same thing on Instagram. Zeba Hassan, who works as Ram's makeup artist, said in a video clip, "I'm a huge SRK fan, but I really disliked the way he called Ram Charan on stage."

Celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Shikhar Pahariya, Arijit Singh, and others were seen returning to Gujarat on Wednesday, leading Jamnagar airport to become overcrowded once more. On March 6, the Ambani family hosted a musical gathering for relatives and Reliance Industries employees in Jamnagar.

The three-day pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar began on March 1. Celebrities such as Rihanna, Arijit Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh, and Akon performed at the event. 

Anant Ambani, the son of Mukesh Ambani, will tie the knot with Radhika Merchant, the daughter of businessman Viren Merchant, in July of this year.
