New Delhi: Deepika Padukone, who is expecting her first child, shared a rare selfie while at a salon. On Tuesday, Deepika posted a photo to Instagram, to which her husband, the actor Ranveer Singh, reacted.

Deepika was seen sitting in the picture while her hair was being fixed. She smiled while taking her photo. The actor had on a blue shirt in the picture that was posted. Deepika merely used the hashtag—missed my long hair—instead of a caption. Reacting to the photo, Ranveer Singh wrote, "Cute".

The soon-to-be parents Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were recently spotted at the lavish pre-wedding celebration of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

The couple revealed the pregnancy news on Instagram in February of this year. In their announcement, "September 2024," was written on the picture with baby clothes and shoes. At a small wedding ceremony held at Lake Como, Italy in 2018, Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot.

On the work front, the couple's upcoming film, 'Singham Again', starring Ajay Devgn, is directed by Rohit Shetty. They worked together before on films like '83', 'Bajirao Mastani', and 'Ram-Leela'.
Recently, Deepika starred opposite Hrithik Roshan in the aerial action thriller flick 'Fighter'. Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi all had major roles in the Siddharth Anand-directed movie. Her next appearance will be with Prabhas in the science fiction action thriller 'Kalki 2898 AD'. The film, which is helmed by Nag Ashwin and features Amitabh Bachchan, will be released in theatres on May 9, 2024.
