'I Think It's My Husband...': Mawra Hocane Attributes 'Sanam Teri Kasam' Re-Release Success To 'Marriage Luck'

Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, who has always had an enormous fan base in India, talked about the re-release of her 2016 Bollywood debut film ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’.

New Delhi: Sanam Teri Kasam, a love tragedy that premiered in 2016 and bombed at the box office, has staged an incredible return. The film's re-release has received rave reviews, thanks in large part to the magnetic chemistry between its leads, Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane.

Mawra, who just got married, responded to the film's resurgence in popularity in an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, where she said that her marriage was a big luck of it. She stated, “To be honest, if the film has waited nine years to achieve these numbers, I think it’s my husband bringing in the luck for sure. Because, the only thing that has changed since then is this (Mawra getting married). The film was always there, and everything was there. But I truly feel it’s the marriage luck because it’s literally the same dates."

The actress continued by saying, "Of course, it is unbelievable for me too, the love that we are receiving. I can see some things, and I am sure I am missing out on a lot. But all that I can see is very overwhelming. I can only be grateful for it," emphasising her shock at the film's popularity.

Recently, an interviewer asked Harshvardhan Rane whether he had any particular wishes for Mawra Hocane. He jokingly said, "Numbers ke through wish karna chahunga (I would like to wish through box office numbers).”
