Masaba Gupta Lauds Childhood Friend & Actor Vikrant Massey For 12th Fail: 'It's Too Damn Good'
Masaba Gupta who has been friends with Vikrant Massey since childhood penned a heartfelt note for the film
New Delhi: ‘12th Fail’ is everyone’s favourite movie now. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vikrant Massey and the entire team of the film have been receiving a lot of appreciation. After Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Farhan Akhtar, Sidhant Chaturvedi, Hrithik Roshan, fashion designer Masaba Gupta has lauded the film.
Masaba Gupta who has been friends with Vikrant Massey since childhood penned a heartfelt note for the film and wrote on her Instagram story, “Vikrant Massey, I have known you since we were children but the self-belief, drive, ambition and most importantly the willingness to work so damn hard despite being talented was there from day 1. Congratulations. I cannot believe how good you are in 12th Fail. Setting an example for many to follow. This is just the beginning, it's too damn good. May we always have the courage to #restart."
Vikrant Massey replied to Masaba Gupta’s post and wrote, "Massuuuu, sending dher saara pyaar. Thank you so so much for always silently praying for me."
Meanwhile, at the recent 69th Filmfare Awards, '12th Fail' won big. The film won the Best Critics Choice film award and also got Vikrant Massey, a Best Actor award ( critics category) for his lead role in the Vidhu Vinod Chopra directorial.
Vikrant Massey dedicated his Best Actor award to IPS Manoj Kumar Sharma and wrote, "Asli Hero (real hero)." On the other hand, Manoj Kumar Sharma also shared a picture with Vikrant and his trophy on social meida handle and wrote, "Jab ek Manoj dusre Manoj ko apni Filmfare trophy dikhane lata hai, tab uss par aur bhi pyaar ata hai (When on Manoj brings his Filfare trophy to another Manog, it is all the more lovable).
Massey also shared a picture of himself with his trophy and he wrote, "We're home. Finally. Thank you Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Zee Studio Official and Filmfare for turning my childhood dream into a reality."
