The couple shared the joyful news with their followers on Instagram, making the announcement on the occasion of Dussehra. They posted an adorable picture of their newborn’s tiny feet, along with a heartwarming announcement.

Masaba and Satyadeep shared that their daughter was born on October 11. In their post, they simply wrote "11.10.24," accompanied by an evil eye emoji. They also shared a touching black-and-white photo of their baby’s feet, along with a card featuring a white lotus and a moon on a blue background. The caption read, “Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day. 11.10.2024. Masaba & Satyadeep.”

The couple's post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities. Bipasha Basu wrote, "Yayyyy Congratulations." Actress Priyamani wrote, “Congratulations @instasattu,” while Sameera Reddy commented, “Abundance and blessings.” Masaba's close friend, Sonam Kapoor, wrote, “I’m so excited and happy.” Dia Mirza welcomed the newborn with the comment, “Welcome to our world baby girl.” Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty shared, “Congratulations my darling.”

Richa Chadha, Smriti Irani, Mouni Roy, Esha Depol, Rhea Kapoor and other celebs also congratulated the couple.

In August, Sonam Kapoor hosted a baby shower for Masaba in Mumbai.

Masaba and Satyadeep tied the knot in an intimate court wedding in January 2023, with close family members, including Masaba’s parents Neena Gupta and Viv Richards, in attendance. Earlier this year, in April, the couple announced they were expecting their first child, and Neena Gupta shared her joy on Instagram, writing, “Humare bacchon ka baccha aane wala hai. Isse zyada khushi ki baat kya ho sakti hai (Our children are about to have a child. What could be happier news?).” 

Before her marriage to Satyadeep, Masaba was previously married to Madhu Mantena, while Satyadeep was earlier married to actress Aditi Rao Hydari.
