New Delhi: Kusha Kapila will soon be seen in two films 'Sukhee', also starring Shilpa Shetty, and 'Thank You For Coming' featuring Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Shehnaaz Gill and Shibani Bedi. The content creator and actor recently opened up about the trolling she faced after her separation announcement from her former husband Zorawar Ahluwalia and also reacted to the linkup rumours with Arjun Kapoor.
In a conversation with Zoom TV, Kusha said she understands that as a public figure, her personal life will be under scrutiny and she is working toward developing a thick skin to deal with all this.
“I do understand that this is a part of being a public person like if you’re profiting off being a public person, I understand that this is now a part of that. Kuch toh log kahenge logon ka kaam hai kehna (it is the job of the people to comment) and which was going to happen. I think my life now is in the service of making my skin thicker and thicker every day. And that’s just what I work towards literally every day I have to be immune, I have to be thick-skinned and the scars will begin to heal soon enough,” she told Zoom TV.
Kusha also reacted to the linkup rumours with Arjun Kapoor and said, "I don't want to dignify this story with any kind of response. And I don't think something like this needs to dignified with any kind of response."
Earlier, Kusha had reacted to reports of dating Arjun Kapoor and had written on Instagram, “Roz apne baare mein itni bakwas padh kar mujhe apna khud see ek formal introduction karwana padega" (Every day I read such nonsense about myself that I will now need to introduce me to myself formally). Every time I read sh*it about myself I just hope and pray ki meri mummy na padh le yeh aab. unki social life has taken a big hit."
