Janhvi Kapoor has strongly reacted to the shocking road accident that took place in Vadodara last week. Expressing her anger and disbelief, the actress took to Instagram to voice her thoughts on the tragic incident.

Re-sharing a video related to the accident, Janhvi wrote, “This is appalling and enraging. Sick to my stomach about anyone thinking this kind of behavior is something they can get away with. Intoxicated or not.”

What Happened in the Vadodara Car Crash?

The horrific accident occurred around 12:30 am near Muktanand Crossroads in the Karelibaug area. A speeding car, allegedly driven by 20-year-old law student Rakshit Chaurasiya, rammed into two-wheelers, killing a woman on the spot and injuring four others. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Panna Momaya, Chaurasiya was arrested soon after the incident.

Eyewitness footage shows a visibly incoherent Chaurasiya emerging from the wrecked car and shouting, “Another round? Another round?” He was later confronted and beaten by bystanders before being handed over to the police. CCTV footage further revealed the shocking moment when his car struck the scooters, dragging the victims along the road before coming to a stop.

Though the police have registered a case against Chaurasiya for driving under the influence, he has denied being intoxicated at the time of the crash.
