All eyes are now on what King Khan will wear — and the buzz points toward a show-stopping ensemble from Sabyasachi’s signature collection. The celebrated designer himself fueled speculation on Monday, May 5, when he posted two cryptic Instagram stories through his brand’s account.

One read “King Khan” alongside Sabyasachi’s iconic tiger logo, and the other followed with “King Khan, Bengal Tiger,” again paired with the emblem — leaving fans intrigued and excited.

MET Gala 2025 Theme

This year’s MET Gala theme, drawn from the Costume Institute’s Spring exhibition titled Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, sets the stage for a night celebrating Black fashion and culture. The exhibition delves into the impact of clothing on shaping Black identities across the Atlantic diaspora, spotlighting 12 elements of Black dandyism. Accordingly, the 2025 dress code — “tailored for you” — is a homage to menswear and its refined elegance.

Adding to the excitement, Shah Rukh Khan has already landed in New York City ahead of the gala. A fan-made video shared on Instagram captured the actor at John F. Kennedy International Airport, dressed casually in a white T-shirt, blue jeans, and a grey jacket. True to his warm persona, SRK embraced a fan who approached him, offering smiles and greetings.
