Vicky Kaushal Reflects On 12 Years In Bollywood With Heartwarming Post, Says 'Nothing Is Overnight'
As an AD, Vicky Kaushal got his start in the industry with Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wasseypur' 12 years ago.
New Delhi: Vicky Kaushal paused to reflect on his extraordinary career in the Bollywood film industry as he prepared for the premiere of his next romantic comedy, ‘Bad Newz’. Vicky posted a touching Instagram flashback on July 10 that traced his rise to fame from his humble beginnings.
To symbolise his twelve-year journey, Vicky shared a throwback photo and a current photo. He had a little part as an AD in his first film, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’, and the first photo is a flashback to that. During the promotion of ‘Bad Newz’, Vicky is shown in the second shot surrounded by her devoted followers.
He wrote a gratitude message in the caption which reads: “This day, 12 years apart… nothing is overnight. Ever so grateful for all your love and blessings.”

Vicky Kaushal was showered with love and appreciation by fans and celebrities alike when the photo went viral. "Gangs of Wasseypur AD look," Richa Chadha remarked. Mruna Thakur wrote, “My heart is so happy for you”. Filmmaker Guneet Monga said, “My heart is sooo full… god bless.”

Vicky Kaushal’s forthcoming film ‘Bad Newz’, in which he co-stars with Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, is scheduled for release on July 19. His film's theme song, ‘Tauba Tauba’, is wildly popular and has just gone viral.
Vicky will be next seen in the upcoming historical drama ‘Chhava’, which is being directed by Laxman Utekar and stars Rashmika Mandanna. Along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, he will be featured in the film ‘Love & War’, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
