Arbaaz Khan Confirms He And Wife Sshura Khan Are Expecting Their First Child Together

After days of online speculation sparked by Sshura Khan’s recent outing in Mumbai, actor Arbaaz Khan has officially confirmed that the couple is preparing to welcome their first child.

After days of online speculation sparked by Sshura Khan’s recent outing in Mumbai, actor Arbaaz Khan has officially confirmed that the couple is preparing to welcome their first child. In a recent interview, Arbaaz shared his joy and anticipation over this new chapter in his life.

Arbaaz Khan confirms Sshura's pregnancy

Rumours began circulating after Sshura was photographed outside a clinic, with eagle-eyed fans pointing out what looked like a baby bump. Putting an end to the whispers, Arbaaz addressed the news and told The Times of India, “Yes, it is there. I'm not denying that information because right now it's something that is out there, my family knows about it. People have got to know about it, and it's fine. It's pretty evident also. It's a very exciting time in both our lives. We are happy and excited. We're going to welcome this new life in our life.”

Arbaaz Khan on parenthood

Reflecting on the journey of becoming a father once again, Arbaaz admitted that he's feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as he prepares to embrace parenthood anew.

“Everybody tends to be nervous. Any person would feel (the nerves); I'm also getting into fatherhood now after some time. It's a fresh new feeling for me all over again. I'm excited. I'm happy and I'm looking forward. It's just giving me a new sense of happiness or responsibility. I'm kind of liking that," he said.

The actor also opened up about his intentions as a parent this time around, revealing he hopes to be fully present and emotionally invested in his child’s upbringing.

He shared, “I want to be around for their child, be attentive, probably caring, loving and do the best to provide to the child.”

About Arbaaz and Sshura relationship

Arbaaz and Sshura exchanged vows in a quiet nikah ceremony on December 24, 2023, held at his sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s Mumbai residence. The wedding was an intimate affair attended by close friends and family members.

Shortly after the ceremony, Arbaaz made their union public via Instagram, posting wedding photos along with the heartfelt caption, "In the presence of our loved ones, me and mine begin a lifetime of love and togetherness from this day on! Need all your blessings and good wishes on our special day!"

For those unfamiliar, Arbaaz was earlier married to actress and entrepreneur Malaika Arora. The two parted ways in 2016, and their divorce was finalised the following year. They share a son, Arhaan Khan.
