New Delhi: When Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor revealed the face of their daughter Raha Kapoor to the world on Christmas 2023, it captivated the audience. Despite the joyous reaction from fans, Alia recently spoke up about her anxieties regarding her decision to show her baby’s face. The actress described how her husband calmed her down while driving from Bandra to Juhu.
In the season 5 premiere of Kareena Kapoor Khan's talk show, What Women Want, Kareena asked Alia about their daughter's frequent exposure to the paparazzi. Alia said that she had a hard time balancing the prevalence of the paparazzi culture with her desire to safeguard Raha's privacy.
Alia recounted how, just before their Christmas meal, Ranbir had suggested showing Raha's face to the paparazzi, which had caused Alia to worry about the worst-case situation. She shared, "He obviously understood that, and he said okay now you’re going to get really anxious so now let’s talk about it what your worst fear is. This we talked all the way from Bandra to Juhu and then finally I was like listen it's true like this is our life and I don’t want people to think that oh you can’t see my daughter’s face, that was not the intention."
