Aishwarya Rai wins Best Actress Award
Recently, Aishwarya was awarded Best Actress at the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024 for her performance in 'Ponniyin Selvan 2', directed by Mani Ratnam. The award was presented by filmmaker Kabir Khan. In her acceptance speech, Aishwarya expressed her deep gratitude, saying, "Thank you so very much, SIIMA, for honoring me with this award. It means the world to me because 'Ponniyin Selvan' was a movie so close to my heart.
