After making a strong debut with ‘Maharaj’, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan is gearing up for his first major role in ‘Loveyapa’, alongside Khushi Kapoor, the younger daughter of Sridevi and sister of Janhvi Kapoor. Khushi, a fresh face in Bollywood, marked her debut with ‘The Archies’ (2023).

The first song from ‘Loveyapa’, titled Loveyapa Ho Gaya, dropped last week, leaving netizens divided. While the chemistry between Junaid and Khushi was appreciated, the song itself left fans confused. However, Aamir Khan has assured that the film promises to be highly entertaining.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Aamir Khan revealed that he had watched the rough cut of 'Loveyapa'. He described the film as entertaining and fun, praising the performances of all the actors. He also gave a special mention to Junaid Khan's co-star, Khushi Kapoor, for her notable work.

Aamir said, “Maine jab film dekhi toh mujhe laga main Sridevi ji ko dekh raha hun. Khushi ko dekh raha tha, aise mujhe laga main Sridevi ko dekh raha hun. Her energy was there, I could see. Aur main bohot bada fan hun Sridevi ji ka, bohot bada.”

Aamir Khan’s comparison of Khushi Kapoor to her late superstar mother did not sit well with the internet. Following the viral clip of Aamir's statement, netizens took to social media to troll him.
