Aamir Khan Donates Rs 25 Lakh Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Relief Fund

Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu thanked Aamir Khan for his help.

New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan reached out to the families who lost everything in the recent disaster in Himachal Pradesh. He has donated to the victims of the recent disaster in Himachal Pradesh, which was caused by landslides, severe destruction and the collapse of many buildings. The state government has created a plan for providing aid in times of need called Aapda Rahat Kosh 2023. As an act of kindness, Aamir has given Rs 25 lakh to the 'Aapda Rahat Kosh'. 

Constant rain in Himachal Pradesh has caused several landslides and cloudbursts throughout the state. According to a statement released by the government of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has contributed Rs 25 lakh to the Aapada Rahat Kosh to help families who have been impacted by the recent calamity. 

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu reflected on the kind act of the Hindi film industry's popular actor.

While thanking Aamir Khan for his help, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that the money would be put to good use in relief and rehabilitation activities to help the families of those who were affected. 

At this time, Aamir Khan is taking a break from acting and making very few public appearances. Reports indicate that the Bollywood actor is putting his professional career on hold to attend to personal matters, including the preparations for his daughter Ira Khan's upcoming wedding to Nupur Shikhare. 

Aamir's last film appearance was in the 2022 film 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. The film was based on Tom Hanks's novel Forrest Gump. The film was well-received by critics upon its premiere, but it bombed at the box office.
