The film is being criticised by a section of the audience who believe that such obscenity involving children should not be portrayed in movies.

Expressing her disbelief over the depiction of obscene scenes by Manjrekar, one twitter user wrote, "I saw the trailer of his film & was shocked how he showed such scenes of kids making out with ladies Most women in the film looked like perverts preying on kids How did he make all those kids act in those scenes? Isn’t it against their child rights ?"
