New Delhi: The Cannes Film Festival is already on its eighth day, and although many celebrities have returned to Mumbai, some fresh faces have been sighted along the French Riviera. When it comes to this year's event, Indian films are getting the attention they deserve. This year's Marche du Cinema will include an Indian-led delegation headed by I&B Minister Anurag Thakur. AR Rahman, Pooja Hegde, and Shekhar Kapur are among the members of the delegation.

Deepika Padukone has a much stronger Cannes connection this year. This year's Palme d'Or award winners will be decided by a nine-member jury at a gala event in Cannes on May 28. Deepika Padukone is one of them. For the whole 10 days of Cannes, Deepika will walk on the red carpet.

On Wednesday night, Deepika resorted to her official Instagram account and shared a series of photos of herself in a metallic brown body-hugging gown. Simple dangling earrings and a finger ring completed the ensemble. Deepika went with a dark smoky eye and a nude-brown lip and her hair was left open.

Ranveer Singh, who is a huge fan of his wife Deepika, was blown away by the actress' photos. He referred to her as 'QUEEN' in the comments. 

Urvashi Rautela made her Cannes dream debut and once again stole the show with her excellent sense of fashion. She's now revealed that when Hollywood icon Leonardo DiCaprio praised her.

Talking to IANS, Urvashi revealed, "I was freaking out and falling short of words after receiving compliments from Leonardo DiCaprio. I was so emotional and could feel happy tears in my eyes. At the same time I was blushing too. He also appreciated me as a very talented actress. I was waking up pinching myself. Did that really happen last night? Was I dreaming about the sweet moment? I think it just shows how even the younger actors want to be out there and inspires young actors to keep going, that's my memory of meeting him."

At the Cannes Film Festival's 75th anniversary, Hina oozed confidence in her blue three-piece costume. Hina radiates confidence and sass on the red carpet.
