BTS Member J-Hope Becomes The First Korean Musician To Perform Solo At Lollapalooza
J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together have been added to the lineup because Doja Cat cancelled her appearances at a number of summer festivals, including Lollapalooza.
New Delhi: J-hope, a member of the South Korean boy band BTS, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) are going to be performing at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago this year. For the unversed, Lollapalooza is widely regarded as one of the best places for music enthusiasts to go in the United States and throughout the world.
The festival will take place in Grant Park in Chicago from the 28th through the 31st of July. J-Hope will be performing at the event among artists such as Dua Lipa, Machine Gun Kelly, and many more. TXT is scheduled to perform on the evening of Saturday, July 30, while on the evening of Sunday, July 31, J-Hope will be the featured performer.
Lollapalooza included a montage showcasing J-performance Hope's in a variety of concerts and music videos as part of their announcement on social media. In the caption, they wrote, "We're thrilled to announce #jhope of @bts_bighit will headline #Lolla 2022 on Sun, July 31st! His performance will make history, cementing him as the first South Korean artist to headline a main stage at a major U.S. music festival."
Doja Cat cancelled her appearances at a number of summer festivals, including Lollapalooza as a result of throat health concerns. J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together have been added to the lineup as a result of this decision.
Immediately after today's revelation that J-Hope would be performing at Lollapalooza Chicago 2022, ARMYs began to speculate about whether or not the BTS member will also be bringing any special guests onstage with him.
