NCB Conducts Raid At TV Actor’s House After Interrogating Ajaz Khan In Drugs Case

Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) conducted a raid at the residence of a TV actor in the Lokhandwala area of Andheri on Friday night. During the raid, the NCB recovered a variety of drugs from the residence of the actor. However, just minutes before the investigating agency arrived at the residence for conducting the raid, the TV actor managed to escape.

A woman from foreign, who used to live with the actor in his residence, is also on a run. The NCB is looking for both of them.
The NCB has said in court that a relation between Ajaz Khan and Shadab Batata has been found. Both of them have been arrested by the investigating on the drugs case. The agency further said that they have recovered WhatsApp chat and voice notes between the two and wants to interrogate both Ajaz and Shadab Batata face-to-face. It has also been said by the agency that Ajaz Khan is an influential person and that he is using it for wrongdoings.
On the other hand, Ajaz Khan’s lawyer said, “No drugs have been found from Ajaz's house. The medicines which have been seized are those of his wife.”
Meanwhile, after hearing both NCB and Ajaz’s lawyer’s arguments, the court has approved 3-days judicial custody of Ajaz Khan to the NCB. The NCB hopes that many more celebrities will now be exposed in connection to the drugs case.
