Bigg Boss Telugu 5 Winner: Sunny, who started his career as the host of the TV show, worked with a lifestyle channel and finally became a VJ.
And the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 is Sunny, the VJ-actor not only lifted the trophy but also took home prize money of Rs 50 lakhs, a bike and a plot worth Rs 25 lakhs. Shanmukh Jaswanth and Sreerama Chandra emerged as first and second runners-up.
Sunny, who started his career as the host of the TV show, worked with a lifestyle channel and finally became a VJ. He began his acting stint with Kalyana Vaibhogam. The official twitter handle of Star Maa, the channel that was airing the show shared pictures from the sets of the show on Sunday night.
The Nagarjuna-hosted show had its grand finale on Sunday as a host of celebrities from Bollywood and Telugu film industry graced the event. Those who were a part of Bigg Boss Telugu 5 finale include SS Rajamouli, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Nani, Naga Chaitanya, Shriya Saran and Ayan Mukerji, among others.
On work front, Sunny has turned a household name with his performance in the popular daily soap Kalyana Vaibhogam. He has quit the show and is all set to make his Telugu film debut as the main lead.
Bigg Boss Telugu season 5, which started on September 5, ended its journey of 106 days on a high note. The fifth season of Telugu Bigg Boss commenced with 19 contestants -Sarayu, Umadevi, Lahari, Nataraj, Hamida, Swetaa Varma, Priya, Lobo, Vishwa, Jaswanth, Anee, Ravi, Priyanka Singh, Kajal, Sunny, Sreerama Chandra, Siri Hanmanth, Shanmukh Jaswanth, and Maanas who stayed at the Bigg Boss house at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
