Aryan Khan Walks Out Of Arthur Road Jail 26 Days After Arrest, Gets Grand Welcome From Fans Outside Mannat
Aryan Khan's bail was granted by the Bombay High Court at a bond of Rs 1 lakh.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who was lodged at Mumbai's Arthur Road central, returned to his home after 26 days of his arrest in the high-profile drugs on cruise ship case. SRK's bodyguard reached Arthur Road jail to pick him up, while the Bollywood star was waiting in a five-star hotel nearby to take his son back home.
The 23-year-old was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3, 2021. SRK’s eldest son got arrested by the central investigating agency after NCB raided a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on October 2. He was arrested along with Arbaaz Seth Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha and others.
Aryan Khan’s bail plea was rejected by the court a number of times. Finally, his bail was granted by the Bombay High Court on October 28. The Bombay HC has allowed bail to Aryan at a bond of Rs 1 lakh. Along with Aryan, Munmun and Arbaaz have also been granted bail by the High Court. The court has also asked them not to leave Mumbai or India without seeking permission from the NCB investigating officer.
SRK's residence 'Mannat' was decorated ahead of Aryan Khan's release from jail. Fans gathered outside the sea-facing bungalow to catch a glimpse of Aryan and celebrate his release from jail.
Also, a report in ANI reads that Aryan Khan’s bail order was received by the jail officials at about 5.30 am in morning. The report read, “Aryan Khan to walk out of Arthur Road Jail today a few weeks after he was arrested in drugs-on cruise-ship case. Jail officials gathered his bail orders at about 5.30 am today from the bail box placed outside the Jail”.
Meanwhile, actress Juhi Chawla signed the surety bond for Aryan Khan and expressed her relief that SRK and Gauri’s son will go back home soon. According to a report of ANI, she said in a statement, “I'm just happy that it's all over and Aryan Khan will come home very soon. I think it's a big relief for everybody.”
The court has also ordered Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant to visit the NCB office every Friday between 11 am-2 pm.
