Akshay Kumar Shares First Look Of His Upcoming Movie ‘Ram Setu’; Wishes Everyone A ‘Happy Deepawali’

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar never misses a chance to surprise his fans. Though his recent release ‘Laxmii’ did not manage to win the heart of the critics and audience, Khiladi Kumar loves entertaining his fans and on the occasion of Diwali, the ‘Housefull’ actor took to his social media and shared the first look from his upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’. Akshay can be seen sporting the long hair look and has an orange scarf tied around his neck. The actor revealed that ‘Ram Setu’ is a humble attempt to know the ideals of Lord Rama and ‘build a bridge to connect generations’. The ‘Baby’ actor’s caption for the post read, “This Deepawali, let us endeavor to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, ‘Ram Setu’ has been bankrolled by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra. Abhishek Sharma has earlier directed films like ‘Parmanu’, ‘The Zoya factor’, ‘Tere Bin Laden’ and others. Meanwhile, the ‘Laxmii’ actor has recently wrapped up his shooting schedule in Scotland for his upcoming movie ‘BellBottom’. He has now started shooting for the period drama ‘Prithviraj’ co-starring Manushi Chhillar. His upcoming film with Rohit Shetty ‘Sooryavanshi’ will hit the screens next year reportedly.
