New Delhi: Raksha Bandhan, an upcoming film starring Akshay Kumar, is scheduled to be released on the holiday of Raksha Bandhan the next week. Recently, Akshay went on a reality show to promote his film, and he was astonished by a message.
He received a voice message from none other than his sister, Alka, during his most recent appearance on Sony TV's Superstar Singer 2. Akshay became overwhelmed and couldn't contain his emotions.
Akshay's sister has nothing but admiration for him since he has been there for her through everything. She is proud of the fact that he has fulfilled the responsibilities of not only a brother but also a parent and a friend. Because of this, Akshay starts referring to his sister as "Devi" and explains to everyone how their lives changed once his sister came into the picture. He went on to say that there is no greater bond than that with a sister.

The film Raksha Bandhan tells the tale of a brother (played by Akshay Kumar) who makes a promise to his sisters that he would get them married. In addition, Bhumi Pednekar plays a significant part in the film as well.
Directed by Aanand L. Rai, Raksha Bandhan is a family film for all ages. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters on August 11, and it will compete with Laal Singh Chaddha for audience and box office attention.
