Akshay Kumar Blames Kapil Sharma For The Failure Of His Films: ‘Yeh Aadmi Itni Nazar Lagata Hai’
In the coming episode of, 'The Kapil Sharma Show’, Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar will appear with Rakul Preet Singh to promote their upcoming thriller movie, ‘Cuttputlli’.
New Delhi: Comedian Kapil Sharma is once again back with his crew for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. The crew is prepared to make viewers laugh out loud with the premiere of a whole new season. The internet has been flooded with previews for the same. In the coming episode, Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar will appear with Rakul Preet Singh. The duo will promote their upcoming thriller movie, ‘Cuttputlli’.
In a recent show preview, Akshay claims that Kapil is to blame for the failure of his movies. Akshay Kumar jokingly said referring to Kapil, "Ye aadmi itni nazar lagata hai sab cheezo pe. Dekho, meri filmon pe, paison pe nazar daal di. Ab filmein nahin chal rahi koi. (This guy puts a curse on everything I do, including my films, my finances, and now my films are not working).”

After a spate of unsuccessful films (Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj and Bachchan Paanday), Akshay's fourth release of the year is the ‘Cuttputlli’. On September 2nd, it was launched on Disney+ Hotstar, and it was met with widespread criticism. 'Cuttputli' is the remake of the Tamil Classic 'Ratsasan'.
ABPLive review of the movie read, “The 2 hour 5 mins long film has a fast paced narrative, that well engages the audience till the end. The first half of the film builds the base of the narrative, heightening the audience's excitement with every sequence. The second half also delivers well, keeping the narrative on-track by avoiding any distractions.”
Meanwhile, ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is scheduled to make its debut on September 10, and it will be shown on Sony TV every weekend. Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, and Chandan Prabhakar will be returning to the program.
