WB Election Results: Twitter Remembers Prashant Kishor's Double-Digit Claims On BJP As Saffron Party Leads In 90+ Seats

BJP has crossed the 90+ mark in the initial trends of Bengal counting.

Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is leading in Bengal and has maintained a good lead in 191 seats but BJP is making the battle tough as it leads in 102 seats in the intial trends. As BJP crossed the 2 digit mark in Bengal people remembered Mamata Banerjee's strategist Prashant Kishor's statement.

Four months ago, Prashant Kishor, drafted by Mamata Banerjee for her campaign for the Bengal election, said the BJP would "struggle to cross double digits" in the 294-member assembly and vowed to quit Twitter if it did better than he predicted.

"For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality, BJP will struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal PS: Please save this tweet and if BJP does any better I must quit this space!" he tweeted.

Netizens are taking a hilarious take on Prashant Kishor's statement.
