'Don't Need MLAs...': G Kishan Reddy Exudes Confidence Over BJP Majority In Telangana Polls
Union minister G Kishan Reddy on Thursday said that BJP will form government with clear majority in Telangana.
Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader G Kishan Reddy on Thursday exuded confidence asserting that the saffron party will form the next government in Telangana with clear majority. He also said that the BJP won't need legislators from other parties and that it will form the government on its own.
"We don't need MLAs from other parties. We will form the government on our own in the state. We will get majority in Telangana," said the state BJP chief after casting his vote on Thursday.
Polling is underway on all 119 seats of the Telangana Legislative Assembly with 2,990 candidates in the fray including Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, his son and minister K T Rama Rao, state Congress president A Revanth Reddy and BJP Lok Sabha members Bandi Sanjay Kumar and D Arvind.

Reddy also appealed to the people to cast their vote in the ongoing polls.
"People should exercise their right to vote. I appeal to the public to fulfil their responsibility," he said.
"I want to tell the public that today is the chance to choose your government. People should look at the candidate or party, not be lured by liquor and other things," said the Union minister.

Besides Reddy, Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC K Kavitha, Cricketer-turned-politician and Congress candidate from Jubilee Hills Mohammad Azharuddin, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi, state Congress President Revanth Reddy have also cast thier votes.
The polling will continue till 5 pm in 106 constituencies but will conclude at 4 pm on 13 seats affected by Left Wing Extremism (LWE).
