Rajasthan Assembly Election: Youth, Women Focus Of BJP, Congress Manifestos For Nov 25 Battle

Rajasthan Assembly Elections: Ahead of the assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party released its manifesto on Thursday. Through its manifesto, the BJP seeking a comeback in the desert state by promising better prospects for farmers, youth, and women.
The ruling Congress released its manifesto in the poll-bound state last month. Among the promises made in the manifesto, the grand old party also promised security and better education for women and youth.

In its manifesto, the saffron party has also promised the formation of an SIT for the investigation of the paper leak scandal, which has grabbed eyeballs in the recent past.

- LPG cylinder for the poor at Rs 500
- Rs 10,000 annually to the female head of the family
- Free insurance up to Rs 15 lakh for disaster victims
- Purchase of cow dung at two rupees per kg
- A law for old pension scheme
Rajasthan is set to go to polls in a single phase on November 25, and the results will be declared on December 3. The date of issue for the Gazette Notification was October 30, and November 6 was the last date for filing nominations, which were scrutinised on November 7. The candidature was allowed to be withdrawn until November 9.
